Orchard Outing
Just came back from my post exam outing at Orchard with my dear. Watched Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire. A bit lost in the show. Couldn't catch some parts. Maybe it is because I missed the 3rd installment of the series. But I think if you are interested in the show, it will be nice. Otherwise, it will just be like any other ordinary movie.
Pampered myself to very good food today. Pepper Lunch and Ajisen Ramen! Speaking of food, I also visited the food court at Wisma Atria. I highly recommend a look at it. The food court has a very creative and unique design. Almost every Asian cruisine is available there! Just to name a few, there's Korean, Thai, Hong Kong, Muslim, Japanese Tepanyaki and Sushi, Chinese Dim Sum, Beijing Noodles, Indian Roti Prata and Toasted Bread, on top of the usual food court stalls. There are also street side snacks and ice cream vendors. But the most interesting thing is that each cruisine has their own unique atmosphere, with their own unique decorations, tables and chairs. And the staff seems very authentic too, like the Beijing noodle sellers really look like they are from China. Also, each cruisine has its own unique dresscode. It was like entering into many different worlds there. Quite an experience.
Of course you cannot miss out on shopping in Orchard, something which my dear holds very dear to. Plus, at this season, we also managed to take some pictures of the Orchard Christmas lights and decorations. Ah... how I look forward to Christmas. Missed the good old fun-filled days of Christmas when I was still a child...
