Hong Kong Highlights: Day 3
Toured the main city area today. Would you believe that i set up my own church in Hong Kong? Check out the photo below! Anyway on to the main course... dear and i went to the science centre to check out the exhibitions and the omni theatre. Believe me, the one in Singapore is much better! The show we watched was titled "Mystery of the Nile", and i was dumb enough to watch the whole show in Cantonese when there's actually a headphone under my seat dubbing it in English! Took a ferry down to Hong Kong Island to see "The Peak" via the Peak Tram, which was really expensive. On top of that, the journey was very short and the weather was too misty to see anything from the peak itself. Not very worth the trip I must say. Nevertheless, dear and i make do with what we could and toured the area. There were many mountain paths to take, but we decided not to go too far as they seem dangerous, especially with the night approaching. Headed down to Lan Kwai Fong instead, which is some pubbing area and spent the rest of the night in this place called "Cavern". Anyone of you guys ever dream of booking the whole pub just for you and your girlfriend? That somewhat happened unintentionally. Dear and i were the only ones there, enjoying a live band and having dinner and drinks too. It was pretty embarassing at first, but we thoroughly enjoyed in the end. Spent about HK$150 (S$30) there, but for 2 whole hours of music, food and drinks, I must say that it was really worth it. Also my first time saying "Keep the change!" =p
