Sisters' Night 2006

A biannual program my church youth group holds in appreciation of all the sisters. The theme this year... Presbyterian Star Charity. So they got different stunts involved to raise funds. Of course there is no funds to raise in this case. Sounds really ridiculous when i first heard it anyway. Soem of the stunts include being locked up in the fridge for 4 hours, pulling a car by the teeth and jumping down from the 3rd storey. Other performances include a song by the Zion Idol champion, and a Hip Hop dance by my very own cousin, Benjamin! He just learnt it for 1 month by the way. Not bad.

My role? As usual... i performed wushu, both the long fist and the chain whip. Tried wearing the track suit instead of the normal chinese attire as i thought it looked cooler. Also modified the chain whip by connecting 2 cyalume light sticks together with a raffia string, thus imitating the chain whip. This was one idea i wanted to do in a long time. The light effects were really awesome! All i had to do was to swing real fast and everyone will be in awe. Definitely going to try this for future performances. Also, i really need to improve my stamina. Nearly died in the middle of my set.
